Trip to Argentina - 2008/09
This Christmas Anna and I visited my family in Argentina. While there we drove (for over 16 hours!!!) to the magnificent Iguazu Falls. We also visited a few other things in the area such as the Itaipu Dam, Wanda mines, San Ignacio Jesuitic Ruins, and the Itati church.
We took several pictures, but none of them reflects the actual impressiveness of the falls.
Cincinnati Masters - 2008
Anna and I got tickets for the Cincinnati Masters (thank you Tony). I really like tennis a lot (watching, not playing), so this was great.
We watched the game between Rafael Nadal and Nicolas Lapentti. It was a really good match, specially the second set, where Nadal kick it up a notch. Nadal ended up winning the match by 7-6(3) and 6-1, and with this victory he’s guaranteed to claim the No. 1 position in the ATP Ranking.
Here are some pictures we took while we were there:
Marengo Caves
On May 2008, Anna and I went to visit the Marengo Caves. These amazing caves, that have tons of stalactites and stalagmites, are located in southeastern Indiana . More information about the caves is available at the Marengo Cave web site.
These are some pictures we took while “underground”.
